About Me
Short bio...
My experience with firearms began when I was 5 years old when my dad began teaching me how to safely handle and shoot a Hi-Standard .22 revolver (I still have that revolver). My father was very strict when it came to muzzle discipline and overall firearm safety; i.e., at 10 years old I lost my BB gun for a month for shooting at a mud puddle! I have been an avid hunter and shooter and have informally taught family, friends, and others firearm safety, and basic shooting skills. Over the years I have accumulated many hours of training, instruction, and certification from excellent instructors and reputable organizations. I continue to pursue training and instruction for myself as I am a firm believer that a good instructor must first be a good student. I am not... A Veteran, or retired Air Force, Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Navy Seal, Army Ranger, Special Forces, Spec Op, FBI, CIA, Secret Service Agent, Law Enforcement Officer, Blackwater Security Operative, Massad Agent, French Foreign Legion, 007, or Security Guard! I highly respect and have a deep admiration and sincere appreciation for all of those who have served and are currently serving. The sacrifice and service, as well the benefit to our country is incalculable. I never want anyone to "assume" that because I am a firearms instructor that I have a military or law enforcement background. I am... A good, safe, and knowledgeable firearms instructor. I communicate effectively and relate to people well in a relaxed, non-intimidating, and encouraging manner. |
